Pets of the Week – Heart of the Rockies Radio
Simba is a loving and adventurous 8-month-old Cattle Dog mix. When he first arrived at the shelter he was very shy and fearful. Simba is still nervous in new situations, but has been gaining so much confidence in a wonderful foster home! This experienced foster family even took him on a trip, pictured here, and he did great!
He met several kids ranging in age from babies to 6 years old and got to hang out with Mosley (his foster dog older brother) on this adventure. The foster family said he did really well while traveling but did get a little car sick. They said, “He is scared of doing new things but once Mosley (the other dog in the home) does something, he has no problem doing it. He rode the UTV, played in the river, and ran next to us on the bikes”
