Pet Emergency Medical Fund

In partnership with Chaffee County Community Foundation, this fund was established and seeded by Ark-Valley Humane Society to provide funding for life-saving veterinary care to Chaffee County pets.

This fund is used for dogs and cats that have a good prognosis, but have been suddenly affected by an accident or life threatening illness. By saving pets’ lives, this fund celebrates and strengthens the human-animal bond, because pets are family.

If your cat or dog has been faced with a life-threatening accident or illness and you need help with the vet bill(s), please apply below. This fund can cover 50% of the medical expenses, up to $500. PLEASE NOTE: You MUST be a Chaffee County resident in order to apply.
