Adoption Resources

Benefits of adopting from AVHS:

All dogs receive the following services upon intake:

  • Puppies are given appropriate boosters

  • Parvo/Distemper/Kennel cough vaccines given
  • Rabies vaccine given
  • Microchip

All cats receive the following services upon intake:

  • Spay/Neuter
  • Kittens are given appropriate boosters
  • De-wormer given
  • Combo tested for FIV/FeLV
  • Rabies vaccine given
  • Microchip

Cat Adoption Fees

  • Kittens 7 months and under: $100
  • Cats 8 months to 7 years: $50
  • Cats 8 years and older: Priceless

Dog Adoption Fees

  • Puppies 7 months and under: $300
  • Dogs 8 months to 7 years:
  • Small Mixed Breeds (under 25 pounds)- $200
  • Medium to Large Mixed Breeds-$150
  • Purebred papered dogs-$300
  • Senior dogs 8 years and older:
  • Small Mixed Breeds (under 25 pounds)- $100
  • Medium to Large Mixed Breeds-$75
  • Purebred papered dogs-$75
