King is our Heart of the Rockies Radio News pet of the week! 
 
King first arrived at AVHS almost exactly a year ago. He found a loving home, but unfortunately, she had some unforeseen circumstances arise and couldn’t keep him, she was heartbroken to say goodbye. We welcomed him back with open arms. Unfortunately he hasn’t received much interest for adoption since then :(.
 
King is a gorgeous, blue-eyed American Pit Bull Terrier mix. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and microchipped. In his previous home, King lived with other dogs. We believe he would do best with another confident and friendly pup. If you’re interested in adopting King and have a dog, please bring your pup to the shelter to meet him and ensure compatibility.
 
During his time at the shelter, King has become a favorite among both the staff and volunteers. He walks wonderfully on leash, loves spending time outdoors, and enjoys playing with toys. If you believe you have the space in your heart and home for King, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at 719-395-2737.
 
PS since King is our pet of the week his adoption fees are half off (just $75) until next Wednesday! If adoption fees are a barrier for you, please still give us a call, we’d love to work something out to get King home ❤????
