Spring is historically a time of year when the shelter has been full with animals in need. To help homeless pets find their happily-ever-afters, Ark-Valley Humane Society is running a Spring Fever Adoption Promotion from April 7th to 20th, 2025.
This adoption promotion will be held at the shelter, located at 701 Gregg Drive in Buena Vista. Adopters will be able to “name their price” for the animals’ adoption fees. The hope is that this promotion will help more shelter animals find loving homes!
Interested adopters are encouraged to apply online prior to coming to the shelter to complete pre-adoption counseling as well as to arrange meet and greets if animals are in foster care.
Those interested in adopting a shelter animal can also call 719-395-2737 or stop by the Buena Vista shelter during opening hours, Monday-Saturday from 12-5PM.
