TAILS ON THE TRAIL

Ark-Valley Humane Society is excited to present our 9th Annual Tails on the Trail: A 5K Run/Walk for the Animals! This dog and family-friendly event promises a morning full of fun, welcoming to families, pet lovers, athletes, and community members of all ages! Stick around for an after-party at the Salida SteamPlant where the celebration continues with awards, catered breakfast, face-painting, and more!

COMMUNITY MICROCHIP/PET ID CLINIC

Ark-Valley Humane Society has seen increasing attendance each year at our Free Community Microchip & Pet ID Tag Clinic. In response, we’re excited to expand this event to a full week, allowing us to support even more pet owners in our community. By providing this service of free microchips and pet ID tags, we hope to help lost pets reunite with their loving families faster.

FELINE & FIDO CALENDAR CONTEST

The 11th Annual Feline & Fido Photo/Calendar Contest invites community members to enter photos of their pets into an online photo contest, where friends, family, and animal lovers can vote for their favorites. At the end of the contest, Ark-Valley Humane Society creates a colorful, full-sized calendar featuring the pets whose photos received the most votes for each month.

Adoption Promotions – Limit One Sponsor Per Promotion

Sponsor a month-long adoption promotion named after your business and help shelter animals find their adoptive homes! Ark-Valley Humane Society will host three adoption promotions during peak adoption periods, offering reduced adoption fees to help more pets find families:

  • Spring Fever (April)
  • Summer Lovin’ (July)
  • Home Fur The Holidays (December)

Your business name will also be featured on a photo backdrop, capturing joyful moments as animals go home with their new families. This sponsorship truly helps make dreams come true for both shelter pets and the families who welcome them home.

August Matching Campaign – Limited Sponsorships Available

Help give homeless pets a second chance at life through our August Matching Campaign! Every dollar you pledge becomes the goal for others to match during the entire month of August, doubling your impact for animals in need. This vital fundraiser supports life-saving medical care, daily essentials, adoption services, and more to ensure they get the care and love they deserve.
