Pirate is our Heart of the Rockies Radio News  Pet of the Week!

Here’s what the staff of Ark-Valley Humane Society has to say about Pirate, “He’s the best!”, “So funny!”, and “A goofy sweetheart.” Pirate is 1 years-old and originally came to the shelter through our Transfer Program. He mostly hides in the kennel during the day, but when you open his door, he jumps up and flops over for pets. Pirate loves attention from staff and volunteers! Even though he tends to hide in his kennel, when it’s his turn to free roam the cat room, he is very confident and likes to stand by the door and demands to be let out. Pirate is quite the character, but is such a loving boy!
