Pet of the Week – Heart of the Rockies Radio

With a lower dog population at the shelter, Ark-Valley Humane Society is excited to name one of our long-term residents, Kida, as the Heart of the Rockies Radio News Pet of the Week ahead of an upcoming dog transfer.
Kida first arrived at the shelter 479 days ago. While it’s hard to imagine her being without a permanent home for so long, she has never been without love.

Along the way, she’s been surrounded by an incredible support system—our dedicated staff who’ve been her helpers, volunteers who’ve walked her, supporters who’ve cheered her on, and her amazing foster family who has cared for her throughout her journey.

We will continue to support Kida every step of the way until she finds the loving home she truly deserves.
