Pet of the Week – Heart of the Rockies Radio

Bucky came into the shelter in late November. I got to take him on a short hike and let him play with my older (occasionally grumpy) dog. I was leaving town for the holidays so I said goodbye to the amazing Bucky since I figured he’d fly out the doors! When I returned and Bucky was still in our care I couldn’t quite figure it out!

Bucky has been in a wonderful foster home where he’s improved many of his old puppy habits. He doesn’t jump up as much and leaves his family (and their food) alone when cooking! Bucky is house trained, crate trained, plays well with other dogs, and walks well on leash! The list of positive attributes goes on and on. Bucky’s only requirement is a home with no cats.
