Sometimes animals come to us having little and needing a lot. This rang true for eight dogs transferred to our small rural shelter on a cold Wednesday afternoon in January. All husky mixes, Gypsy, Dakota, Zola, Elway, Jenna, Balto, Nana, and Willow came to us as a result of a cruelty seizure in a nearby Colorado county. We had heard, prior to them coming that they were in pretty bad shape, but nothing can really prepare you for something like this. Turnip and Cheetah

I adopted Turnip and Cheetah on December 15th 2013. I had recently lost my 18 year old chocolate point Siamese and I knew that eventually I wanted to adopt two kittens. He explored every nook and cranny in the house and especially loves the high places. Surprisingly, he loves playing in water......

We adopted "Sunny" earlier this year

Hello! We adopted “Sunny” earlier this year. We have renamed him “Nugget” because of his gold coloring and also because we adopted him in Colorado.   I just thought I would send you this picture of him in his new home.  He has two “big sisters” who he loves to play with… especially Waffles.  They roll and play all the time! He is quite the pouncer too.  But, more than that, he is just a loveable little kitten who has made himself right at home in our home and hearts!   Anyway,......
