Dear Folks at Ark-Valley,

We wanted to let you know what a success our adoption of Max has been. We had lost our cat and wanted a companion for our existing cat.

We spoke with the staff at the shelter, requesting a cat that would be comfortable interacting with three dogs, a cat and a toddler. Two cats were suggested and moved to the play area for us to interact with.
We had brought one of our dogs, Dixie (who adores cats) along for the introduction. Max was seated when I entered with Dixie. He walked over and preceeded to rub up against Dixie in greeting. Immediate best friends.

We brought Max home, where he settled in beautifully. His greatest tribute is his tolerence with my grandaughter, Ava, who pulls him onto her lap and combs him.

He loves it and we love him!
